You are worthless if you waste every moment.
As if time could never pass you by.
Held closley by goals that are stagnant.
Eat, work, sleep, repeat and die.
You've got something trapped inside ready to break away.
We were never built to live this way.
Your ambitons lie in a self-loathing prison accompanied by your happiness.
Stop pretending that youre not a mess.
Peer pressuring yourself into a failure.
Their opinions are overrated.
Don't let these peons get a hold on you.
I refuse to let life pass me by I have a better plan.
Bathe me in the purest things the world can offer.
Stop selling yourself short.
Death to your rancorous thoughts.
Relinquish the things that make you soft.
Don't ever get caught in between
Living life and chasing the dream.
It's now or never.
If things don't get better.
Will my heart still tremor with a surge of hope.
I don't feel safe
And im losing faith.
In those precious words you spoke.
Get off your knees.
Stand up and try.
You've spent hundreds of days
Maybe you gave it a thousand
Hoping someone would notice
"My god this kid has heart"
You get halfway there
And you give it your all
To watch your hopes and dreams fall apart.
Don't Give up the Dream.
It's the only real thing we have.
I've given all that I have,
Yet I have much more to give.
Not a fan of the new album but this Polaris album is just what I love about metalcore. Saw them live in CH last year and on stage they are amazing. If you're new to Polaris (doubt it) start here ! sachavonkarl74
Midwestern prog-metal stalwarts go for the throat on their new EP, featuring a roiling cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' “1979.” Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2019
Realistically, I should have bought this album after the first 100 scrobbles of In Reach (Out of Touch), but it's never too late to do the right thing. This has a different atmosphere (and story) than The Lost City, but it's just as good and just as melodic. porcelainheart-
