This world hates us
A plague of rage torturing us for years
This world hates us
As we parade in shame and drown in our fears
This is pathetic
as we divide ourselves by the tones of our skin.
Our love is synthetic
We murder each other with the same hands we shake with.
Submit.
Lay down and die.
You're a defective man.
Living the perfect lie.
Submit.
You're just a sheep.
Less than the dirt
beneath my feet.
Disarm me,
Before I end the broken soul standing before me.
Disarm me,
I will relinquish your light with the hands god gave me.
Is the truth to much to see?
I am the light in you.
You are the darkness in me.
Heavy lies the weight of man,
I will show you the truth with my bare hands,
Put an end to this habit.
Forever crushing ourselves with the weight of our poor judgement.
How we can we manage?
In an appalling state where we ridicule one another?
Our love is synthetic
Murdering each other again and again.
Submit.
Lay down and die.
You're a defective man.
Living the perfect lie.
Submit.
You're just a sheep.
Less than the dirt
beneath my feet.
This is what racist scum want you to believe.
You are not inferior, blind, or weak.
They will fear you
as you break your chains of self-destruction.
They will fear you
as you cut your tangled strings of desperation.
Man's true failure:
He who judges does not accept himself
Not a fan of the new album but this Polaris album is just what I love about metalcore. Saw them live in CH last year and on stage they are amazing. If you're new to Polaris (doubt it) start here ! sachavonkarl74
Midwestern prog-metal stalwarts go for the throat on their new EP, featuring a roiling cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' “1979.” Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2019
Realistically, I should have bought this album after the first 100 scrobbles of In Reach (Out of Touch), but it's never too late to do the right thing. This has a different atmosphere (and story) than The Lost City, but it's just as good and just as melodic. porcelainheart-
